WebQuests are, to quote their creator Bernie Dodge, "an inquiry-oriented activity in which some or all of the information that learners interact with comes from resources on the Internet." Rather than just finding the answers to questions using the Internet, the WebQuest has a purpose that reflects a task in the real life. Often students are simulating a situation that an adult would have in their occupation. WebQuests facilitate problem-based learning scenarios.
